It's days like today that make me think that time is just rushing by.
When my baby started crawling and getting into things...
I couldn't help but think of where the time has gone since his birth?!
and now I am crying trying to re-teach him how to take a bottle!
How grateful I am to my family and friends who helped me get through
the first month with off and on successful nursing.
I know nursing is not for everyone and doesn't work for everyone,
but for whatever reason it finally worked for me and William.
Sometimes I sit and hold William after he has fallen asleep at night
I stare at him and snuggle him tight.
He is still my little guy, but he sure has grown a lot bigger.
I remember being worried I would hold him wrong or hurt his neck
Now I can throw him in the air and bounce him on the bed
It is fun having some people think he looks tiny and to others he is huge!
Of course we think he is just perfect.
Sometimes Ben and I lay in bed and look through all the pictures
and videos of William on my phone.
To say that Ben is obsessed with him is an understatement,
I love seeing Will with his dad.
He is babbling and laughing and moving around!
He is sitting up in his crib... in the middle of the night.
He eats applesauce and squash. He sits in a real stroller.
He loves peek-a-boo and LOVES it when we sing.
He is quite the character.
And then it's time like right now when he wakes up in the middle of the night
and I can't wait for him to grow up/out of it and sleep the whole night through!
Oh... the rollercoaster of life :)
All I can do is enjoy the ride,
whatever part that may be!
