Moving on

It's official... 
We are moving to Utah!

Ben finally received his official offer to teach in the 

Organizational Leadership & Strategy Department 

at the Marriott Business School at Brigham Young University.

We are trying to take advantage of our last few months here in Ithaca while Ben stays busy finishing his dissertation. 

William loves his girlfriend Claire

We are also trying to make sure we see all the pretty sites Ithaca has to offer, such as Cascadilla Gorge.

It has been fun being able to take Will outside to the park and go on the swings.  

He has been a little unsure about crawling in the grass, especially a few weeks ago when his nose was running everywhere!

Two weeks ago we traveled to Utah to go house hunting.  
We were lucky to have family members watch William while we went searching.
It was a very busy weekend filled with ups and downs.  We put offers on two different houses.
One of which we changed our minds and the other one the owners took a different offer.  Now we're back in Ithaca and continue to hunt for the right house.

William met so many family members, it made us excited to live in Utah so close to relatives. 

 

Another reason why we went out to Utah was to say goodbye to Ben's sister, Jennie.

She will be serving in the Birmington Alabama Mission.

William was really lucky and met two more great grandparents, Grandma Lewis & Grandpa/Grandma Smoot

It is really crazy to think that fairly soon we will be packing up our apartment and leaving Ithaca.

We have created so many great memories and have great friends here.

We are excited for this new chapter in our lives with a real job and a lot of changes. 

We are also excited to watch William continue to learn and grow.  We sure love that little guy!
