New world

William John Lewis was born Monday morning at 5:30 am on September 17th 2012. We are kind of obsessed with this little baby. If you wanted proof .. Here are the pictures from my phone to prove it. Stay tuned for details on his arrival! :)

Life Lately...through my phone

I'm learning how to use my phone more effectively these days.  Here are some pictures of our outings the past few weeks.  (Ben diving off the diving board at Treman Park).

Nursery Stage 1

 It was like Christmas when I got this box in the mail. So much time and effort was put in to the contents inside.  My mom is quite the visionary seamstress and did an amazing job on my nursery bedding.  

Here is little guy's room as you enter the door.  

We decided to keep our small twin bed out for any visitors.

It was tricky finding matching bins and totes that matched my random color obsession of yellow, teal, and red/coral.  The bedroom looks so bright and cheerful, I'm excited for baby boy to occupy it.

 Not sure if all of these items are staying in his crib, but I thought they looked cute in there for now.  Can't wait to put the finishing touch in the crib... baby Lewis. 

and I can't wait to see him so we can name him! 

Some day I will be sick of this view, but for now I can enjoy its beauty.

Next step... put something on the walls! 

September?!

I'm not sure how time flies so quickly, but somehow it is already September! 

A couple weekends ago Ben and I stopped by one of the waterfalls we hadn't seen before around Ithaca.  

It's called Ludlowville Falls.

 Apparently New York is having a drought this summer but it was still beautiful nonetheless. 

 It was fun trying out my new camera but less fun trying to climb down (pregnant) to check out the falls. 

 

Fall is basically here and Cornell classes have begun again.  The beginning of the school year doesn't really mean anything different for us these days.  I am not in nor teaching at a school and Ben is not taking any more classes.  What it does entail is that our friends are back in town and there is always something fun going on. 

 It's funny how everyone has a different opinion on the size of my baby/belly.  One of my customers at work will say that I'm tiny when the next is surprised that he got so huge!

Little guy is growing and definitely moving in there.  I'm still working for another two weeks, but it is getting harder to move around these days!  It seems crazy that this little boy is actually going to come out... in about 3 weeks! In some ways it feels like I haven't been pregnant that long, but when I think back to seeing those two lines indicating "pregnant" I guess it was long, long ago.  

Here's to the next few weeks of being P&B Lewis... we can't wait to see this little babe.
