June 2017

Ben's brother, Ed, returned home from his mission from Russia.  Ben was able to go home for his homecoming with all of his siblings.
After California, we drove to Arizona for my cousin, Emily's wedding.
Ben was able to give Madeline her baby blessing in Gilbert, at the Lewis home, on Sunday June 4th.

We stayed in Arizona for a few more days and then drove back to Utah to begin our summer.

We went to the Art City Days parade and Ben's grandpa Smoot was on the float for state champions basketball from 1958.
William started baseball and we invested in a pop-up tent to keep us shaded during the games.

We also went to the Orem Summerfest parade and got lots of fun goodies for the kids.

Kelvin left for his mission to Portugal in June, and we had lunch at Brick Oven to send him off with a full stomach!
Goodbye to his brothers for two years.
The Provo splash pads opened and we loved the view at the Riverwoods with friends.
William absolutely loved t-ball.  His favorite position was pitcher.  He stood on the mound, and when the batter hit it he would run and get it, regardless if the ball went to his area.

William started to become a great brother to Madeline.  He would read her books and play with her on her toy mat.
The warmer weather brought a lot of walks and bike rides around the neighborhood for the kids.

We had fun at Bicentennial Park with Early Intervention.  Life started getting a little easier being able to take the THREE kids out to the park. I love Lucy's smile :)

William and dad went to the Lehi Round-Up Rodeo.  Ben is really into horses and loved/s rodeos as a kid, so the two of them had a blast.

We went to Seven Peaks water park with the kids' cousin, Holly, and Cj & Taryn.  Lucy loved the wave pool with the waves crashing against her legs.

William and Ben tested out the scout tents (scoutmaster Ben) and had a successful night in the backyard.
William and second-cousin, Sam, played at All-Together Park on a hot sunny June day.

Meanwhile, Ben went to Amsterdam for a work conference to present his paper to his colleagues.
