The week after our big race we celebrated the 24th of July and our one year mark of being Utah residents. A couple days later we all flew to California for another fun get together with some of the Christensen crew (minus the Jennings).
We stayed by Newport Beach and had a blast enjoying the sun and sand.
This was the first time Ben and William were at the beach together (last year Ben couldn't make it)
William enjoyed the beach even more than last year as he played with the toys and loved playing with the sand. He was very brave and would walk out to the waves by himself. He loved having the waves crash on him (at his knees) and could have stayed there forever.
Ben left halfway through the week for his annual Academy of Management Conference.
I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday in California.
It was a fun day filled with treat, good eats, sunshine, pampering and shopping. What else could a girl ask for?!
We had a fun time playing at the hotel and sharing memories together.
After a week at the beach William and I drove back to Arizona with the family to spend a few days there while Ben was at his conference.
